Are you curious about discovering more about the Christian faith? Join us for our monthly Church & Coffee, where we explore a different local church. We’ll visit a nearby church on the first Sunday of each month, to experience its unique atmosphere and message. After the service, we'll gather for a cozy coffee or tea session to reflect on what we've experienced, share our thoughts, and connect on a deeper level. It's a perfect way to enrich your Sunday with inspiration and community. Everyone is welcome, whether you're familiar with church traditions or exploring something new!
Discover some of the churches of Wageningen with a group of students and enjoy time together, celebrating and talking together afterward.
We will visit the Vineyard Gemeente Wageningen https://vineyardwageningen.site/

Connect and share
We warmly invite you to join us for this refreshing experience where we meet a small group of students once a month and connect on a deeper level.
Join Ruur Boersma (former dean) and Dorothée Berensen (student chaplain) in the Spectrum office for a meaningful evening of conversation. We’ve brought in the 360 Degrees Stories game, a fun and engaging way to share life stories and reflect together. We believe in creating a safe space for connecting and sharing, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
This gathering is an opportunity for personal growth, meaningful connections, and mutual learning. If you’d like to join us, we’ll meet every 4th Tuesday of the month from 19:00 to 21:00

Knitting Workshop
Knit with Ruur Boersma.
Join us for an interactive and fulfilling knitting night curated for individuals of all skill levels who are interested in learning the art of knitting or improving their existing knitting abilities. Ruur Boersma, a master in the field, will be there to guide you where needed. Knitting materials will be provided, but feel free to bring yours too.
For questions, please contact Ruur Boersma

Grief & Writing
By using small creative writing exercises, we will express our stories of grief, give voice to our sadness or pen down our warm memories of loved ones. This can be healing on its own. You can then share your experiences and advice with others as well as learn from them. As everyone deals with grief differently, this can lead to new ideas.
In this workshop you get a safe space to write, while we will share our personal stories.
The workshop is planned every last Sunday of the month for 2024. You can join in any time, and the sessions stand on their own: you can join once, or multiple times.

Women's Day Poetry Workshop
Join us to commemorate this International Women's Day. A sisterhood space where history, resilience, and creativity converge. In a world where our ancestors endured the brutal weight of patriarchy, racism, and class division, we now stand at the dawn of a renewed spirit of social justice. This workshop is a call to all sisters who believe in words' power to heal and challenge the narratives of oppression.
In this session, you'll have the opportunity to explore verses of hope, empowerment, and unity. Whether you write for healing, activism, or pure creative expression, your voice is essential.
Together, we’ll craft and share our writings, celebrating diverse experiences and paving the way for a more inclusive future.
Let’s use our words to light the path towards a more compassionate world.

Co-regulation sessions
Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or alone in your studies? You don’t have to face it alone! We warmly invite you to an enriching evening designed to help you connect with fellow students, share experiences, and discover the power of connection. These sessions, guided by Dan Tuffy, focus on co-regulation—an essential aspect of well-being grounded in Attachment Theory.
Why Co-Regulation?
Co-regulation is about openly sharing your fears, longings, joys, and frustrations, and finding understanding and support through shared experiences. Without these connections, it's easy to feel lost and alone, especially when stressed by studies or life challenges. While the natural tendency might be to face these feelings in isolation, the Co-Regulation sessions offer a powerful alternative. We provide a safe and welcoming space where you can share your experiences, support one another, and build meaningful connections. Through dynamic group discussions, reflective activities, and peer support exercises, these sessions empower you to navigate challenges together and expand your social circle.
