Team
I am a Buddhist chaplain and a life coach and grief counselor at WUR. I live and work part-time at Zen River, a Zen Buddhist training temple in the Netherlands. I’d love to tell you I live a simple, stress-free life, but let’s be real—I get way too enthusiastic about way too many things! Relatable? Join me for meditation, a Retreat & Recharge session, or just a cup of tea and coaching chat. Let’s figure out this “simple life” thing together (or at least laugh about trying).
I have participated in many of the wonderful Spectrum activities before deciding to become part of the team. The community helped me a lot when I first moved to Wageningen and I love being surrounded by other spiritual people. Next to my role as Team and Activity Manager, I facilitate the Hatha Yoga lessons and I am part of the Taizé prayer band.
Hello, I'm a third-year student in Environmental Sciences Bachelors! I enjoy meeting new people and making new experiences and Spectrum is perfect for that. As Spectrum's PR officer, I also love working behind the scenes while helping my fellow teammates with Spectrum's eventful activities.
As an enthusiastic Externus, I am dedicated to connecting Spectrum with other associations or individuals who would like to partner with us for activities across our pillars. Together with the team, I am passionate about realizing impactful activities for the students/employees and building strong community connections.
In lak’ech. The connection between humans, animals and nature is something I feel very passionate about. Humans are a part of nature and I truly believe that reconciling this can bring a lot of positive change in the world. Spirituality has helped me to understand and experience this fully. Coming to study in Wageningen, I was so pleased to find a community like Spectrum.
Since coming to Wageningen, Spectrum has been one of the communities where I’ve felt most seen and supported. Creativity is my way of expressing joy, and through design and photography I hope to share the warmth, diversity, and energy that Spectrum brings to students. I’m grateful to be part of a team that values connection, expression, and community.
I enjoy creating engaging content, sharing memorable moments, and helping people discover everything Spectrum has to offer. When I'm not studying or working on creative ideas, you'll probably find me painting, exploring new places, or trying different foods. Looking forward to connecting with you!
