Unlike a normal study class, we will try out an ancient Christian technique to ‘digest’ a Buddhist text and try listen with all our body and being. The technique is called ‘Lectio Divina’ and is a very old Christian Monastic technique in which you read a small part of an inspiring piece of text, slowly and in silence.
Jeanette Den Ouden, chaplain at Spectrum has worked with this ‘Lectio Divina’ technique for 15 years, and is happy to share her experience with it.
The next meeting will take place Wednesday 24 september from 17:30 to 19:00.
